Spritzstruder

Spritzstruder

thingiverse

Seeking a paste extruder for my Mendel90, I found RichRap's version unsatisfactory due to reduced x-travel. Therefore, I designed an alternative model inspired by Thingiverse findings. The mounting holes are standard 50mm in size. Happy printing! However, be cautious when using a weak stepper motor, as it might struggle with the gear ratio. This design is currently a proof of concept with limited functionality, and I may not update it soon. Please proceed at your own risk and feel free to remix or edit as desired. Assembly requires: 1 M8x40mm hexnut, 1 M8 nylock nut, 1 NEMA17 motor, 5 M3 nuts, 4 M3 set screws (2 max. 6mm long), 1 M3 screw (~10mm long), 1 608 bearing, 3 M3 screws to mount the motor, 3 M3 washers for motor mounting, 1 reusable ziptie, and 1 3-piece 10ml syringe (e.g., BRAUN Omnifix). The assembly process is self-explanatory, with the syringe held in place by the ziptie and snap fit. The rack replaces the plunger, and the rubber piece serves as a seal. The 1 M3 screw adjusts the distance between the rack and small gear.
