Sprite 4020 Hotend Fan w/ Adj Buck Converter
thingiverse
Here's the parts for my hotend fan mod using a 12v 4020 fan and an adjustable buck converter (which also powers the LEDs in my 5015 Trihorn cooler mod). Doing this requires that you move the CR-Touch probe to the other side of the extruder, which works great with the zero-offset mount I found on here (I did include my slightly modified version to help lean the probe inward a little. I also created an ADXL mount that also doubles as a spacer needed for the CR-Touch mount. This is the 4020 fan I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MGWHLZ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here is the buck converter I used (and you prob need to use to ensure it fits): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQGMOKI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 A very handy set of male and female picoblade connectors (need to swap red/black wires to match stock plugs): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013JRWCBU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here's the 6inch pre-crimped picoblade wire and connector set I used to make the touch probe wire (stock wire is not long enough): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S18D3RN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here's the 5015 Trihorn LED mod I used with this set: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5851214 This is the CR-Touch mount I used: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5742280
