Sprinkler mount
thingiverse
My kids and I have been working on automating our greenhouse. Recently, I discovered what I believe is the best sprinkler system available online. It costs between $6 to $12, a price that's hard to beat. I currently use one set for watering pot plants, but another set is installed with garden stakes in the ground, as suggested by the manufacturer - spraying from the ground up. However, keeping it in one place and spraying upright was a challenge. To solve this issue, I created a clip that can be attached to simple fiberglass garden poles. I made two of these clips: one fits a garden stake with a diameter of about 1/4 inch, while the other is designed for an 8mm rod. The orange fiberglass rods used in gardens to mark ditches and other features are typically around 8mm and use the larger sprinkler mount. This setup is surprisingly simple yet incredibly sturdy and useful if you have the same sprinkler system.
