Single piece print that folds into a bouncy ball shape. Additional materials needed: A hot glue gun. One - printed item. The prints shown here were made using default settings: 0.1mm layer height and .8mm shell thickness, no support or raft. PLA was used for these prints. Two - carefully remove the print from the build plate, working inward around the perimeter. Three - apply a dot of hot glue to each corner, then fold up and hold in place. Four - continue gluing until two hemispheres are formed. Five - apply more glue around the seam and close it up. Note: To get just the protrusions a different color, switch filament at exactly 2.05mm with the use of a software plugin.
