Allted's springy pen holder for the Mostly Printed CNC is a masterclass in minimalism. However, I found the notion of cutting zip ties to switch pens on my MPCNC utterly frustrating. So, I opted to swap out the pen side with straps utilizing M3 screws and nuts. Although nut traps may cause some printing difficulties, simply tightening up the screws will draw the nuts into place. You can personalize the maximum pen diameter (default: 18mm), and by employing long M3 screws, you can achieve any desired thinness. There are two versions available: one features shorter bridging but more pronounced 45-degree overhangs.
