Edit: Nov. 20/17 Took me a while but I finally got around to testing it. Not exactly what I wanted, so I made some adjustments, breaking it down into five parts now because part three is a nightmare to troubleshoot. Trying to figure that out first then I can test it and try again. When I'm finally happy with this, the files will stop changing. Edit: Nov. 13/17 AAAHHHH! Two pieces of my part two weren't on the platform, now they are, we can all breathe a sigh of relief. I also added an alternative for p1 fasteners for the springy part that I think are better. I'm printing this out so I can test it as I write this edit. This is a more useful version of my cue holder table clamp https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2640298, with the same basic design though. The picture should be enough explanation for assembly, and the springy pieces need to be bent over a 1" cylinder or by hand so they're bent when not under pressure as shown in one of the pictures. So they don't break easily, it should hold over 20 lbs of force but I may need to use a more permanent fastener instead of the quick clips I've included, I have to test them out. I was thinking about using spongy shelf liner to glue to the pressure surfaces or maybe some thin grippy rubber, not sure yet. Part one should be printed in decent resolution, .14-.18 Part two has no special requirements except that more layers should be stronger than less layers; I'm going to do .3 resolution. Part three needs supports and can be .4 if you choose to do so. **Note: I haven't tested the parts yet and how they fit together when printed, I'm hoping it will work...lol
