Springs for Ondaflex bed net
thingiverse
After three years of use, 12 out of 24 springs in my net bed failed, plastics cracked in multiple points, forcing me to replace them. Despite numerous phone calls, Ondaflex offered no assistance as the manufacturer, prompting me to take matters into my own hands with a DIY solution using a 3D printer. I designed simple springs to replace the originals, but my model lacks the hard/soft regulation of the authentic ones. To compensate, I experimented with infill and settled on 30% as the optimal setting for a "half hard/half soft" design. With this adjustment, I was able to create 12 parts, four of which are shown in the photo here, while eight were used to complete the other half of my net bed.
