Springs Challenge Badge - Water Activites

This badge is the result of a school assignment completed in my D-Tech class. Its purpose is to signify completion in water sports/activities accomplished during Springs Challenge - a challenge issued to our entire school. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 How I Designed This Creation: Since it was a project, we were given specific criteria to follow/fill out, which included A task, brief, plan, conceptual ideas, research ideas, and final idea and evaluation. The specifics were for it to be 50x50mm in size, and at least 3mm thick. With this in mind, I created a few conceptual designs, then decided from these that sports/physical activity was what I would focus on, then later decided water sports. Custom Section: Badge Completion Criteria: This badge can be earned by completing any of the following activities: Tread water for 5 minutes, swim 400m in one session, kayak/boat or snorkel or go fishing. It's essential that these activities are done with family and friends (where possible), to ensure safety, fun, and a healthy hauora (well-being).
