Springloaded Handle
thingiverse
I think I handled it better with a horizontal spring load instead of squeezing in and screwing back fit. It also helps with slightly different lengths and shapes of the stone, for the original one I had to file mine a bit to fit into the handle. You'll need just two small nails where the head needs to be cut off and a spring from an ordinary ball pen (I used one with 4mm diameter). Also, I got rid of the longer grip, I found it uncomfortable and held the "original" one in the middle of the handle, for which I added a bump. I used Sketchup and added the original Files for more customizing. Update: Antix in the comments gave me the idea to modify the base model further to a two and four stone holder. I've updated my files, now you can find besides the old one stone holder a version for two stones (untested print and sharpening) and a four stone holder in two versions. Version 1 (the one in the pictures) is assembled with three pieces, for the ease of printing, and Version Two is the same but with Part One and Part Two still together (needs to be printed upwards). I appreciate it.
