Update Mar 17, 2020: I took the pistol to the range and discovered that I had forgotten to account for the small indicator that rises when there's a round in the chamber. To fix this issue, you'll want to create a small notch at the bottom of the rail (this modification may only be necessary for the v2 design). Unfortunately, I no longer possess this pistol, so I'm unable to measure and edit the model. Optic mount designed specifically for my Springfield XD Mod.2 (it's possible that it could fit other models as well, but I haven't had a chance to verify). The mount attaches securely to the rail located at the front of the gun, providing an additional rail on top. Before using this optic mount at the range, please be aware that I won't assume responsibility for any damaged optics. ;) The black component represents v1, while the orange part is v2. Compared to v1, v2 features flat sides for increased strength and reduced supports, countersunk holes for M3 screws and nuts, and a longer rail.
