Spring Thunder Tacticool Edit
thingiverse
This entire fileset, save for 3 parts, is my design of an edit of Gdop26's Spring Thunder. All credit goes to the original creator, as well as ehdrien, for his parts used in this build. I edited his pump grip, but i don't really recommend it because it's a little painful to use. Nevertheless, the option's there if you want! IMPORTANT NOTE: This edit will require you to get a bit of additional hardware, as well as cut down the original hardware rods. INSTRUCTIONS FOR HARDWARE: You will need to shorten the lower threaded rods from 37~cm to 28cm, and secure it to the bottom of handle frame B. Top 2 threaded rods have no change, and the Back Plate is now integrated into the Buttstock. You will need an additional 2 threaded rods,6-32, of length 10cm,to be connected from Handle Frame B to the Buttstock with the screw ends. You will now also need 4 6-32 nuts to fit into the sides of Handle Frame B for the 10cm threaded rods to screw into. You will need 4 m5 screws for the cheekrest to be screwed directly into the buttstock. You will need 2 m3 screws and nuts for the buttplate to screw into the buttstock. You will need an m3 screw and nut for the rear sight to be attached. Sorry about the metric and imperial mixup.. the additional screws are not entirely necessary, you can decide to glue them on, combine them to print together, or use your own hardware to fix them on. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and do post your build on the Gdop26 facebook page if you do, i'll be so honored! Additionally, this kit was originally planned for sale together with Gdop26 himself, but because he is too busy, I have decided to release it for free, so people won't have to wait any more for this. However, if you wish, you could donate a little to my paypal: https://paypal.me/Lyzaahh?locale.x=en_GB Much appreciated!
