Spring seat for the unfinished cut end of a generic 19mm OD, 3.2mm wire diameter, 7mm pitch spring to see if it will work in a 1996 Rockshox Judy fork. I cut two springs out of one 400mm long spring. springseat3b.STL: removes overhang in case springseat3.STL has a printing problem. I hit the generic spring with some white primer without bothering to prep it for paint, beyond wiping it clean with alcohol. Most current cheaper forks feature one long coil spring per leg, wrapped in shrink tube around the middle to prevent scratching when the coils buckle under compression.
