Spring is an abstract sculptor part of Muzeon Park of arts founded in 1992 as a hub for artistic expression. Its creation was largely thanks to the Tretyakov gallery and Central House of Artist, along with nearby monuments of culture and architecture from the XVII-XX centuries. By the nineties and zeroes, Spring had become Muscovites' top choice for leisurely strolls due to its prime location and well-manicured grounds. Over 700 sculptures make up Muzeon's collection, many of which are renowned Soviet-era landmarks, including Mukhina's monumental tribute to Maxim Gorky or Shadra's powerful work titled "Stand to the death", a replica of Vychetich's original sculpture.
