Spring Loaded Target for NERF Gun Fun!

NERF Guns bring people together all over the world, adding a new layer of fun to playing at home, in the office, and outdoors. This fun dimension takes NERF Gun play to a competitive level. The target itself is a movable one-piece print with hinges. It's designed with two separate parts: a small flat strip of PLA that acts as a return spring, and another part that's attached to the target using hinges. Both parts only require around 60gm of PLA at the recommended settings (including Raft). As an alternative, you can cut a similar size strip of flexible plastic from an old container to use instead of printing a PLA spring. Allocate a specific number of NERF darts to each player and score their hits. The target is easy to see as it springs back into place after each hit, making it clear who has been struck. This design ensures everyone can participate fairly. Mounting the target is easy: attach two screws to a block of wood, or use a bulldog clip to secure it to a table, shelf, or bench. If needed, you can also remove it easily. This unique NERF Gun target is a great alternative to traditional targets, making games more fun and exciting. It encourages people to come together, play together, and see who has the best skills. With the provided print settings and images, you'll be ready to create your own competitive NERF Gun arena. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Standard / 0.20mm Infill: 2 Shells / 20% infill minimum / PLA Notes: Using 2 shells and a 20% infill provides enough strength for the target, but if you want it to be more durable, consider using three shells and 30% infill instead. Raft is recommended for easy removal from the build plate. Avoid scaling down the design as it will affect the internal clearances used in the hinges. Post-Printing: After removing the raft, insert the flexi spring into the target's slot, then fold the target upright and attach it to your preferred surface.
