This is a spring-loaded sponge holder with an ability to wick using one hand effortlessly. To put the dish soap bottle into action, it sits vertically atop of the sponge holder, and the top opening on the sponge feeds through to receive its soap supply by design. By pushing the sponge forward gently but firmly, the flow of soap onto the sponge will resume immediately without requiring both hands. This concept came about from dealing with an excessive buildup of dirty dishes over a weeklong span. In an effort to save time and energy while washing up, I had come to notice that the constant refilling process would need the involvement of both hands simultaneously, ultimately slowing down the task at hand. My aim here is to simplify this operation using only one hand whenever possible. As the sponge starts to run low on soap, I'll easily pop it into its dedicated slot, giving me some breathing space. The area where the spring-loaded design connects is spring-powered as well. Once released from tension, this space automatically resets back to normal.
