Spring Loaded Slim Wallet
thingiverse
I was driven by the innovative designs of Ekster and Secrid wallets, prompting me to craft my own spring-loaded wallet utilizing readily available components. I successfully salvaged a spring from a mechanical pencil and utilized 3M velcro's soft fuzzy side to securely hold cards in place. The 3M velcro is strategically positioned on opposing sides (please refer to the accompanying image). To ensure a robust connection, I opted to weld the two halves together using a soldering iron. This wallet has been designed to accommodate five non-embossed cards or a combination of two embossed and two non-embossed cards. This project was completed using 1.75mm PLA filament on a Monoprice i3 v1 3D printer.
