Spring-loaded scribe for MakerFarm I3
thingiverse
This is a custom-designed spring-loaded writing tool for the MakerFarm Prusa I3 x-axis carriage. I employ it to meticulously scrape away etch resist during the fabrication process of printed circuit boards. The main body of this writing instrument is 3D printed. A sturdy, 1/4-inch diameter grade 8 bolt serves as the core component, while a matching 1/4-inch T-nut and spring work together to securely hold the bolt in place within the upper section of the body. These components are cleverly housed within the main structure. A single machine screw is all that's needed to firmly attach the writing instrument to the x-carriage.
