Derivation of the "Spring-Loaded Replicator 2 Drive Block" by Makerbot - Revamped Modified the MBE Lever to utilize a M3 x 8mm screw for securely holding the 623ZZ bearing in place. This was accomplished due to printing issues with the bearing bolt stub, either being too weak to adequately hold the bearing or oversized and unable to smoothly fit into the bearing socket. This modified main extruder is employed by my RepRap 3DPrinter, 3DPrintMi http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:95339 Components Required: 1 x Compression Spring - .375" OD,.035" Wire (Available at http://www.mcmaster.com/#9657k306/=10gvnbp) 1 x M3 x 4mm Screw (Reference #92010A112) 1 x M3 x 16mm Bolt (Reference #91420A126) 1 x High-Quality 623Z Bearing (Obtainable at http://www.robotdigg.com/product/62/623ZZ-Ball-Bearing) Printing Settings: Rafts: Disabled No rafts are required.
