A revolutionary 2-piece mold is designed to craft the precision 4mm gasket as envisioned by Dr. Lex's ingenious Customizable spring-loaded knobs for the equally innovative Customizable Adjustable glass bed bracket, hailed as the best method of clamping the glass bed to date. Utilizing a pourable 2-part RTV silicon, readily available in Australia under the brand name PinkySil, or its equivalent product Alumilite in the US, allows for the creation of perfectly crafted gaskets with each pour. The 2-piece mold ensures consistent results, every time. Printed in PLA, the locator bumps are meticulously cleaned up to ensure a snug fit. Then, the two halves are joined together using rubber bands, holding them securely in place. Remarkably, less than 1 gram of silicon is required for each gasket. Following a curing period of just 30 minutes, the pour spout is carefully removed with an exacto knife, and any flashing is simply peeled away by hand.
