This "Itcher" is an advanced extruder with a notably enhanced grip. Designed specifically for the Ormerod, it utilizes pneumatic bowden fitting and PTFE support to optimize performance. Unlike Mason Stonehenge's spring-loaded extruder, this model loads pressure primarily onto the hobbed gear from the filament itself (not between the small and large extruder gears). This results in an extremely precise adjustment of the hobbed teeth grip into the filament. In my experience, it functions so accurately that the larger gear is more likely to fail than the hobbed slipping along the filament. I employed two 9mm bearings and one 8mm bearing for enhanced reliability.
