Spring loaded bracket for glass plate

Spring loaded bracket for glass plate

These brackets are specifically designed and engineered to work with a 3 mm glass bed. I had significant problems with the original bed, which shifted due to thermal expansion of the aluminum underneath, making any calibration impossible. Standard brackets work well for PLA printing, but if you primarily print ABS like me, they're completely useless. Moreover, the knobs loosen significantly after just an hour of printing due to heat. I created these spring-loaded brackets that should keep the glass bed from moving away and (in theory) eliminate any calibration issues entirely. So far, I'm very pleased with the results. My recommendation is to print with ABS; create two of them and place a standard bracket in the opposite corner. Made for a FF Creator Pro, but they should work fine on any bed that has corner screws; the spring used is a standard pen spring (3mmx18mm). Thanks
