Spring for a Pot MakerSpring (for me anyway) is just around the corner and it's time to start thinking about getting the seeds started. Growing up, my parents had one of these, turned out of wood. Actually, they still have it – that's the reason I had to make my own. This one makes pots with a diameter of 55mm/~2" and up to 60mm high. Printed in PLA with three perimeters and 10% infill. To make pots:rip a section of newspaper into 4"/10cm strips and wrap one strip around the pestle. It should go around 3 or 4 times and overhang the end with the indent by a couple centimeters or so. Fold the bottom over – I use four folds, alternating around like a compass: North, South, East, West.Press the pestle into the base and give it a twist. And that's it, you have a pot. Fill with dirt, your favourite seeds and get that garden growing.Have fun!
