Spring Clamp for GoPro

Spring Clamp for GoPro

Clamp your GoPro wherever you like - on a shelf, guitar headstock, or even your girlfriend's rearview mirror. Wherever it fits is up to you! You can purchase hardware or scavenge it from a Harbor Freight spring clamp (item #69291) or maybe even a spring clamp lying around the house. Print one handle to create the version I have pictured, or print two handles with mounting points to create one with four mounting points. If you want just a spring clamp, print two plain handles! Print it, assemble it, clamp something awesome and share your photos! I'm planning some improvements and will add files as I make them. Update: GoProClamp_A_Mk3, GoProClamp_B_Mk3, and SpringClampShoeMk4 are the newest versions, built the same way as before but with a new shoe that only works with the new clamp. I've updated the nubs on the clamp nose to be larger and less likely to break. You'll still need to file them down at an angle like before. Print Settings: Printer: Turnigy Fabrikator 3D Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm layers Infill: 50% Notes: Printed in maker geeks PLA @ 230c, 60c bed. For ABS, I needed to print on a raft at 110c bed. Post-Printing: Remove all supports and ream the holes so a 5mm screw fits through easily. You may need just a tiny bit of reaming; your printer's specifications may vary. On the nose of the clamps, file the nubs short and at a 45-degree angle before snapping on the shoes. Take apart the Harbor Freight clamp and assemble your new one! Be awesome!
