"Spring" Assist Quick Clamp
thingiverse
I added the top piece for the table, making it compatible with the rest of the clamp. The last bit of the file name is p3, and it likely needs to be printed at a resolution around .16 or so because it has threads for the rest of the clamp to connect to. If you print this, I'd love your feedback as I haven't gotten around to printing it yet. I think I got rid of the errors and added the files separately according to quality needed. P1 should be printed at a resolution around .18 or smaller, while p2 doesn't really matter, but .3 will work with supports. I'll work on an alternate design to make the clamp useful for other applications as well, likely just a C-shaped version. I made this mostly from scratch in 3D Builder and used some of my old designs/remixes to fasten it together, in theory. I haven't printed this yet. It's intended for a table top pool cue holder for now, but I'm sure I can design a better one that will work for other uses in the future. As you can see from the picture, I assembled everything in the Builder to give you a visual for assembly, and if you can't figure it out, just ask anything you want in the comments because others may have the same issues. The idea is to push the bottom up to clamp it to the table and slide the oval side to side to lock/unlock the threads. I'm thinking something like that tacky shelf liner to add to the two surfaces that meet the table.
