Spray Paint Wand for Miniatures

Spray Paint Wand for Miniatures

thingiverse

A wand for holding gaming miniatures securely in place while spray painting them comes with a modular design making the platform extendable. Ideal for applying primer, base coat, or clear coat. Ensure that you print the base platform upside down with prongs facing upwards, allowing for minimal supports and a flat surface to position your miniatures on. After printing, parts fit together tightly; however, ends may require a small amount of sanding for a precise fit. A small amount of glue can be used for a permanent hold if needed. Once assembled, stretch small rubber bands from one hook across the platform to the hooks on the other side. Once in place, you can slip the base of your miniature between or under the rubber bands to hold it securely for spray painting. The design is large enough to accommodate most common sizes of gaming miniature bases. If a longer platform is desired, print a second platform and use the included hex pin to connect them together. If you prefer more distance between the handle and the platform, extensions can be used to create a longer shaft. Please note that the one shown in the photos is an early design, and some features were modified or added before upload (extension, pin, longer handle).
