I'd like to introduce a revolutionary breakthrough in "shoot bees that are slightly too far away" technology, aptly named Spray Extender - an ingenious can-to-stick adapter compatible with standard 18oz cans of bee/wasp/hornet killer spray. A simple yet effective design allows the user to trigger the spray button via a clever mechanical system. A sleek lever is situated atop the can, easily operable by a piece of fishing line attached to it, providing effortless activation of the spray mechanism when pulled by hand. This uncomplicated yet precise setup delivers outstanding results time and again. Instructions: To get started, designers may edit and open RSdocs files using DesignSpark Mechanical, a free 3D design software that's easily accessible with an internet search. Printing two distinct components, can_cap and trigger_arm, is essential for this innovative system to work its magic. A 4-40 x 1/2" long screw secures the trigger_arm in place on top of the can_cap, forming a sturdy base. In conjunction with that, a length of 10-foot electrical conduit functions as the operational pole - providing a friction fit for added stability without needing screws. I successfully utilized Omniflex Braid fishing line by attaching one end to the trigger_arm, passing it through the rectangular slot on the can_cap just below the arm, then rethreading it from the top down towards me, ensuring the other end faced outwards, facilitating ergonomic usage. Finally, securing the can in place was a simple task, achieved using a hose clamp attached around both objects, completing the functional setup with precision.
