Spray can holder (52mm)
prusaprinters

My wife and I mountain bike and during the spring and summer bug spray becomes an important part of our pre-ride preparation. Some of our favorite trails are only 30 minutes away from Lyme, CT, where the disease that bears its name was discovered, so it's not just a convenience thing, either. So, anything that's an important part of our prep needs to be kept handy. I've addressed this need previously with a different design, but found that design was lacking. I wanted to address the shortcomings of the old design, and thought that something along the line of a water bottle cage could be a good approach. I decided it would be fun to stick to the water bottle theme and actually make it compatible with the 64mm bottle mount standard, not that I expect I'll be carrying this on a bike anytime soon.

Mounts with a pair of M5 bolts, just like a bottle cage, and the bottle just clips in. Holds fairly light - strong enough so it won't fall out while driving around but not so strong that it would last long mounted on a bike.

Pictured with a standard bottle cage for a size comparison. It's a cute one!

Printing - I printed this at 0.3mm layer height on the MK3S with no supports. I used Prusament PETG for heat resistance as this is in a car that'll sit in the hot summer sun.
