These replacement parts for a watering can were designed using OpenSCAD. In the accompanying photos, the red spouts are originals that came with the watering can, while the green ones are 3D printed replicas. For the rose, I printed holes for the water to flow through at 1mm but warm filament slumped into the holes, causing them to close up. To fix this issue, I used a drill bit to enlarge the holes to 1mm but they turned out bigger than the original brass spout's holes. As a result, the spray isn't as fine as it should be. Perhaps if the OpenSCAD file had specified 1.5mm for the hole size, it would have worked without needing me to drill them out (and the warm filament would not have slumped into such large holes). Alternatively, I could have reused the brass part of the original watering rose. Only the spout requires supports during printing; the watering rose does not need any.
