Spout and bridge vessel in the shape of a man at The British Museum, London

The vessel stands as a representation of a man proudly holding an offering bowl in his right hand. His face is intricately carved with detailed features, while his body is painted in traditional attire, adorned with a cape and head wrap. Human figures, both male and female, are depicted either on Nasca vessels or modelled into standalone heads or full figurines. These figures are associated with various activities: agricultural pursuits, where they hold crops and farming tools; warfare scenes, where they wield darts, maces, spears, and trophy heads; and musical performances, where they play pan pipes, drums, and rattles. Effigy vessels featuring human figures emerged in the first century AD. Additionally, there are vessels modelled into animals such as birds, dogs, or snakes, as well as edible plants like maize or fruits. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, which aims to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access.
