You can find an OpenSCAD script that generates spot test plates with angled borders in any size. This plate was used to quantify quinine in beverages by fluorescence, featuring a 3D-printed platform that reduces the curvature of the liquid surface. The script is customizable to generate different sizes of plates and number of spots. The chamber UV takes pictures with the platform inside. Comment and uncomment lines to print subparts inside modules. They fit in a typical 20x20 cm heat bed. Print it in black to reduce light inside. Glue them with Super Bonder or other suitable glue for the plastic used. This project is part of a research collaboration between LIA3, led by Prof. Dr. Vagner B. dos Santos from UFPE, and LACMAE, led by Prof. Dr. Carlos A. Neves from UFPA. They are working together with Prof. Dr. William T. Suarez from UFV, Prof. Dr. Sanclayton G. C. Moreira from Faculdade de Física, UFPA, Emelle K. N. da Silva from UFPA, Ian S. Resquel from UFPE, and Mathews de O. K. Franco from UFV. A paper titled "A fluorescence digital image-based method using a 3D-printed platform and a UV-LED chamber made of polyacid lactic for quinine quantification in beverages" is under submission. The link will be available soon.
