The Sporty's PJ2+ aviation radio is a good design, except that there's no way to lock out the PTT switch from accidental presses (the software keylock only affects the front panel keys). I mow our airport with the PJ2+ in the mower's cup holder, and would like it never to accidentally switch frequency (flip-flop key) nor ever transmit at all.This design guards those side keys, while still leaving an opening to get your finger in if you really need to transmit. I'm using rubberbands but it could be attached with tape or velcro.This is a quick OpenSCAD job and isn't a perfect fit but does the trick.
