Sports windshield spoiler
thingiverse
A manually-adjustable deflector for motorcycle windshields attaches non-destructively at the trailing edge. It allows you to tilt the deflector up or down to keep turbulent air away from your helmet or direct it towards it as per preference. The design is modeled in Solidworks and can be printed on a TOM, using M3 bolts of 12-20mm lengths for assembly. Most pieces require 2 shells and 30% infill. Thin rubber sheets, foam or Sugru can be used to make the clamp jaws grippy. Nyloc nuts are recommended due to high-vibration motorcycle environments. The print includes one centre wing, left wing, right wing, and two brackets. Assemble by bolting left and right wings to the center wing panel, then bolt the brackets onto the wings. Clamp jaws onto windshield using Sugru or rubber sheet for protection and grip, adjust angle as needed. The deflector helps reduce wind noise and buffeting.
