Sports Scoreboard

This is a custom scoreboard designed specifically for Ultimate frisbee tournaments, where scores rarely exceed 17 points. The design can be easily adapted to accommodate higher scores and is suitable for other scoring sports as well. The scoreboard features a sturdy plywood backing painted white for optimal visibility. Sharpie markers were used to draw the score lines, while printed letters were carefully traced onto the board to ensure accuracy. To guarantee precise digit spacing, I created printouts based on the file segments.stl. A single package of nylon cord (Dritz 9342B) was sufficient to hold the individual pieces securely in place. When properly handled, it's simple to flip the pieces over without any hassle. Each segment consists of a white and a black part, both designed from STL files, which were superglued together around their central hole. This creates a sturdy and visually appealing design. To complete the project, I constructed a tripod holder using three 2x2s, ensuring the scoreboard remains stable at approximately two feet wide. Overall, this was an incredibly easy and straightforward DIY project to undertake.
