Sports Roller for Muscles and Foot Massage (REMIX)

To change from 8mm to 5/16" hardware, you'll need these modifications: Change number 1-A: The threaded section length exceeds 12", but home stores sell 3-foot rods. To make three sets instead of two with leftover rod, print handles vertically and sink them 7-8mm into the bed. This reduces overall length to 12". At 40% print strength is sufficient; printing at 20% resulted in a broken handle along the grain during assembly. Change number 1-B: Each handle must be reamed with a 21/64" (0.328") drill bit for free rotation on a 5/16" (0.3125") rod. Hardware needed: * 5/16" - 18tpi threaded rod, 12" length * 5/16" - 18tpi nut, nylock, quantity: 2 each Another change involves the bearing: Change number 2: A spacer replaces the 608 bearing (8x22x7mm). I created a stepped spacer to press into the roller's end with an inside diameter for a 5/16" rod, slightly larger than 8mm. Assembly notes: A) Nylock nuts inserted backwards result in better locking. B) Washers are not required; metal ones purchased but unused. C) Nylock nuts prevent handles from coming off; regular hex nuts may require thread locking compound.
