Sports Camera Box

This is a custom box I designed to cradle my Sports Camera. Initially, I developed this project with the goal of creating a Ninjaflex inner layer (listed as "Inner Layers") as a soft cushioning material to prevent scratching my camera. Later, I decided to switch to felt instead of Ninjaflex to rest my camera on. To account for the difference in wall thickness due to not using the Ninjaflex inner layer, I created an additional file for the Ninjaflex rubber area that the lid rests on when closed. HOW TO ASSEMBLE: If you're printing this box with the intention of including the rubber Ninjaflex layer, use the following files - Main Body, Lid, Lid Pin Holder (printing hinges separately from the lid produces a better result), Pin or Pin 2 (Pin requires some sanding to fit snugly into the hinges, while Pin 2 has a slightly smaller diameter and slides right in). You'll also need Inner Layers, and Rubber Layer. If you're printing this box without the rubber Ninjaflex layer to use felt or another soft material instead, don't print Inner Layers. Instead of Rubber Layer, use Rubber Layer Alternative. NOTE: The Rubber Layer or Rubber Layer Alternative should be printed with Ninjaflex to provide a soft area for the lid to rest on when closed.
