This is a Work in Progress.

SportIdent BSF8 and BSF9 control station holder.

This item is a mounting plate for the SportIdent BSF8 and BSF9 control stations. It has been designed to be easy to print. This control station holder enables more mounting options than the conventional control station holders.

A few notes on the design:
1. The main plate is at the bottom with the strengthening webs printed above as this makes it easier to print. This shouldn't affect its use. 2. The central slot is not necessary, only being of any purpose when using the red O-Stand available from SportIdent in Germany, but nothing says 'SportIdent mount' like that slot. 3. The central mounting holes are the same as on the SportIdent products, but why would you print this rather than use the cheap and readily available Plastic Holder for BSF9 & 8 Station (Standard)? 4. The slots under the retaining clips at each end are, in the original injection moulded mounts, provided for parts of the mould tooling. In this design, they are there so that scaffolding will be from the bed plate and not other parts of the item. 5. The end fixings are likely to be the main ones used with this item. These can be used to fasten the item to a flat surface with M4, #8 wood screw or similar size fixings. For mounting on a tube or other shape, a simple saddle can be printed to suit.
