The Sports Hall of the Altstädter School in Celle from 1828, designed by Architect Otto Haesler. The sports hall was illuminated from above by a glass roof and could be converted into a festival hall for film or theatrical performances. Today, it is only used for athletic purposes. Due to repeated leakage of the glass roof, it was covered with a conventional ceiling. In addition, the gymnasium has been strongly altered through wooden paneling.
