Sport Glasses Insert

This is a replacement insert for Adidas Sport Sunglasses. Those inserts clip inside the sunglasses to provide eyesight correction with suitable lenses. I broke the insert in my well-used Evil Eye Adidas sunglasses after several years of good and frequent use, including competitive volleyball (indoor and beach), snowboarding, and white water kayaking. Instead of spending another 60 dollars, I opted to try and print a replacement part. This is the result - I use those glasses 3 to 4 times a week on the water and on the vball court in harsh testing environments. Printed using Materio3D PLA, the first printed insert lasted almost a year until I got hit in the face with a paddle during a kayak-polo game earlier this week. I printed a couple of replacement inserts and used the new glasses yesterday in a local class IV creek running at good water level. The original insert (29x26 SPX) is made from nylon, but I did some tests using Nylon 230 from Taulman, which was too flexible and I was concerned about losing the lenses. I plan to test out with Nylon again in the near future using Taulman 910 Nylon. The insert has a notch in the middle for clipping it to the sunglasses - for misty days, night use or indoor, I simply don't use any tinted lenses on the Evil Eye sunglasses. The insert is 3mm thick and the space for the lenses can be adjusted using scale factor in your slicer.
