Sport Cub Wing Bracket Jig

Sport Cub Wing Bracket Jig

thingiverse

This is a helpful jig for fixing the wing cover bracket of a ParkZone Sport Cub radio control airplane. It keeps the posts lined up perfectly so you can press or clamp them until the glue sets. I used 5-minute epoxy pushed into the cracks with a T-pin. Before printing, make sure that hole centers form a rectangle measuring 49.5 x 164 mm. Print two jigs and join them together using 5 mm diameter chopstick stock cut to 174 mm in length. You could use my chopstick cutting jig and a razor saw to make precise cuts. You don't have to glue the chopsticks in, but you can if you want to. The jig takes up less space when it's disassembled. This jig applies to these planes: ParkZone Sport Cub 1.3M (no longer available) HobbyZone Carbon Cub S+ 1.3M
