Hi, this thing is designed to manage thin filament pools within the spool holder for the Original Prusa MMU V2. I encountered an issue with the master spool reels and some thin spools from pricier filaments - these spools would tip over in the supplied spool roller due to their size, leading to failed prints. This thing can be seated in the middle of the original spool roller and secure the spools safely in place while also making rotation easier. I've also created a version that allows for 2.5kg spools with a maximum width of 103mm; it adjusts the axle accordingly.
