Spoolholder from Prusa MK3S packging
prusaprinters

I was looking for good but basic spool holder. I didn't want to spent a ton of plastic on it. I decided to to reuse the packaging from the Prusa MK3S+ I had not thrown away :).

The roods and few other stuff came in a cardboard tube that is 440mm long with 40mm inside diameter. It fits inside all the spools I had.

It holds 7 spools (may differ with your spools manufactures).

There are two options. Screw on both sides or screw only on left side. The right side is optimized so you can swing the the pipe out to load more spools.

Print instructions

I chose to print it in PETG but the strength is overkill. Im sure even with PLA it will be plenty strong. On the other hand I recommend to use more perimeters and maybe gyroid infill for maxim strength to weight ratio.
I had some miner warping issue so i just bumped up the bed temp to 95C and it printed just fine.
