Spoolholder for Primacreator P120 (will most likely fit other rebrands of this printer)
thingiverse
This spool holder is influenced by the design created by "Toys", with no direct replication, but instead an extensive inspiration from his design. The differences are evident in my design, which is significantly more robust and capable of supporting a 1kg spool over time. It's held together by a notch rather than a pin and features angled arms that lift the spool closer to the extruder for a more horizontal angle on the filament. A roller and hubs for the spool have also been added to ensure smooth feeding with minimal friction. It is likely possible to print this design without supports, but I recommend using light support to stabilize it during printing. I printed it at 0.3mm layer height, but you can opt for a lower layer height if you prefer a smoother finish. The installation process should be straightforward, requiring only the simple slide-on of part 1, followed by the insertion of part 2 into part 1, which then clicks into place. Depending on the precision of your print, you may need to sand the notch slightly for a secure fit.
