Spoolholder AnyCubic 4MAX
thingiverse
I create a spoolholder for the 4MAX printer as an upgrade to the standard one. The holder can hold spools up to 95 mm wide. I use this spoolholder variation on all my printers and it works perfectly. Due to the wide base of the spool-holder, the spool wobbles less than with broomstick-like holders. The bolts are recessed so they won't hook onto your spool. To add extra strength and make up for the limited space on the 4Max for the spoolholder, I extend the spool over the edge of the plating. This keeps the spool height as close to original holder level as possible. The result is incredibly solid - like a rock made of plastic! Mounting Tips: - If the spoolholder doesn't fit right (plating too thick for some reason) and opens up at the bottom near the plating, use washers or the included spacer. - Use M8 mm bolts instead of the original 6 mm ones. - Add an inlay for a bit more bling. Happy spoolholding!
