Spoolholder
cults3d
My first priority is to be gentle and careful! I'm setting up a spoolholder with adapters specifically designed for 3DE PLA spools. To complete this project, I'll need some additional parts: Rods: I'm using 8mm aluminum rods, but feel free to use other materials as well. Cut them to the length shown on the drawing and glue them in place. M8 Threaded Rods: Cut these to the specified length according to the drawing. 4x M8 Nuts: These will be used for securing the threaded rod. 2x 608 Rollerskate Bearings: These will provide smooth motion and support for the spoolholder. If you want to create adapters for other types of spools, I've included the thread specifications: M30. For braking, I'm using a simple rubber band, as shown in the photo.
