This is an adapter designed specifically for a filament spool with a 53mm diameter hole to ensure seamless compatibility with the Anycubic i3 Mega (Ultrabase) filament holder. The holder itself features a 16mm diameter rod. Additionally, this adapter will fit perfectly with other spool holders that have a rod of this same diameter. I encountered an issue with my new filament spool, as its hole had edges rather than being perfectly round. This led to poor performance on the spool holder provided with my printer, causing prints to abruptly stop. After researching alternatives, I discovered the 52mm Spool Cap from Danlim, but unfortunately, it was too small for my spools. In response, I created a custom version of this adapter, basing it on the 52mm design. The Fusion360 file is included, making it easy to modify and adapt to other diameters as needed. Update: As of April 24, 2018: A new 58mm version has been added, along with a corresponding Fusion360 file. The 73.5mm version has also been introduced, but I have not had the opportunity to test print these yet. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
