This is a versatile mandrel designed to accommodate filament spools with holes ranging from 30mm to 60mm in diameter. To assemble it, you'll need a 1/4" nut and bolt approximately 4 inches long. The end mandrel's design allows for easy removal without fully unscrewing the nut, ensuring continued use even if threads are damaged during drilling. In fact, it's recommended to sand/file the thread tops once assembled to prevent mar marks on the drill chuck. To secure the bolt head in place, slide it fully into position before tightening down. Printing this design requires no support structures.
