Spool Wall Mount system for MMU

<p>This is yet another wall mount system for the Prusa MMU2. This system uses 2 bearings (7mmx22mm) and 1 shaft (8mm x 120mm) from the MMU kit to support the spool. I found I needed to add a leather washer between the lock and end cap as the spool spins too freely. In my case I drilled a 8mm hole in the mounting plate (wall) and then fit she shaft into the hole before mounting with a single #8 screw.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>While posted gcode is for PETG, this can be printed with anything. I used PLA for the mount and the endcaps, and PETG for the locks as they have flexible fingers. the endcaps will be better in PETG as the bearing retention clips are fragile if printed with PLA.</p>
