Spool wall holder (console) for M8 threaded rod
thingiverse
Here is my design for spool wall holders using an M8 threaded rod. The spools sit atop the rod and touch the wall with their backside. This design enables easy removal and installation of the spools from the shelf. While it may not be visually appealing, this design works effectively and provides rigidity. I am still a beginner in Tinkercad and this is my first design, but at least I created something from scratch and solved one of my problems. I recommend installing one holder every 50cm along the rod, which would mean three holders for a standard 1m rod. To print these spool wall holders: Use PLA material. Set your temperature to 210°C. Infill should be between 20-30%. Set the layer height to 0.25mm. Print with three perimeters. Omit supports, rafts, and brims entirely. A straightforward and simple printing process is all that's required.
