This thing is going to be featured on the 3D Printing Today Podcast, Episode 86; threedprintingtoday.libsyn.com. I swear by Prototype Supply filament for its superior tall and thin spools. These boast fewer curve-induced issues towards the end of each spool, plus they are less prone to tangling due to crossover effects. Yet, new ones come unwrapped way too easily when attached overhead, resulting in serious tangles and jams. So, I created this nifty fix. The spindle hole fits 3/8" all-thread rods perfectly, accommodating Prototype Supply's unique spool holes while also working well with Esun's design. To print this sturdy device without breaking it during spool swaps, set the layer height to a minimum of .2 mm and increase the number of shells to 4. Additionally, print four layers at both the top and bottom for added durability.
