Spool tool for sewing machines

The past four decades have been marked by my mother's constant creativity, as she has worked tirelessly with various materials like glass, Fimo, knitting, crocheting, and stitching to create something new every day. When she discovered that a 3D printer is not just a plaything but can actually produce useful tools, she showed me her spool storage from the sewing machine, which was in disarray due to all the threads unwinding rapidly. This clever little clamp has solved her problem once and for all, and I must say, it's a game-changer - after all, one can never have too many of these handy devices! If you're looking for something different, such as a varying diameter, height, or wing length, you can simply modify the parameters in the provided Fusion 360 files. The factory files are optimized specifically for my Prusa MKS2 and PLA filament from Rigid Ink. This design is perfect for anyone who needs a fastener for bags, handbags, backpacks, or any other type of bag - it's an "easy" version that's sure to please. If you're looking for something more secure, I've also got you covered with the "secure" version, which can be found on Thingiverse. For those who need a bit more assistance, I've also shared my design for a Ladder Lock or Ladder Buckle, which can be found on Thingiverse as well. Update: My mother and her sewing group are currently printing 50 new spool tools, and I'm thrilled to see how this little project is taking off. Update: It seems that companies are now selling similar items with a similar design for a mere 1.50 Euros each - or 14.99 Euros for a pack of ten. This means that the batch of 50 tools my mother and her group have been printing is worth an astonishing 74.95 Euros! The cost of the PETG filament used to make these tools was a mere 90 cents, which just goes to show how much value you can get from 3D printing.
